WHERE WE'VE BEEN

The Philippine Parkour and FreeRunning Association(PPFA) is an active network of both disciplines of movement– Parkour and FreeRunning– working hand-in hand with other groups/teams from other regions, which continues to grow, discover, learn and teach, therefore uniting and establishing one grounded and easily accessible community, that furthers the fun discovery of self-development through movements.

Aiding the development and correct progression of Parkour and FreeRunning has always been at the root of the PPFA community. We hold weekly jam sessions and are open to those who wants to join in these journey of movements.

We also hold exhibitions in schools and communities, workshops and health and fitness and safety trainings. With proper coordination and active participation through both the private and public, in the hope of doing our share in keeping kids and adults alike, involved in a fun and productive activities that nurtures the essence of self-development and awareness of the environment, through these disciplines.

Working in cooperation with non-profit and private companies, PPFA has keenly supervised, and closely coordinated with projects, ensuring the welfare and benefits of the athletes/practitioners participating. Amongst the roster of clients and media partners are Nestlé Philippines, Men’s Health, Reuters, Action & Fitness Magazine (A&F), FHM, ABS-CBN, GMA 7,QTV, TV5, UNTV, Studio 23, Eat Bulaga!, Flippish, The Philippine Star, Business Mirror, Saudi Gazette, Fudge Magazine, AXA Insurance Company, and the cancer awareness magazine– Beau and Belle. Also appeared in radio and studio guestings that tackles topics and discussions relating toParkour and FreeRunning.

Likewise conducted field demonstrations and productions, for the Philippine Special Action Force, Market! Market! Health and Wellness Demo; in schools: De La Salle University, University of the Philippines (U.P. Diliman), Ateneo de Manila University, and Southville International School. And has also seen and participated in theatrical productions from De La Salle University-College of St.Benilde.

Also appeared in tv commercial projects such as Snitch and Lucky Me! Pamilyaro. And have taken part in the television production and conducted parkour training for the cast of Agimat: “TiyagongAkyat”. Was also part of the internationally accalaimed, award-winning indie movie production “Engkwentro”.
